The developers have announced that The Guilfoyle is 98% sold with only a limited opportunity to purchase 2 bedroom apartments remaining.
 
ANZ are the financial institution providing the development funding for the project and LU Simon Builders who commenced construction in January 2011 are now well advanced.
 
Whilst there has been insecurity within the global economy, both the Australian and Victorian economies have continuted to perform well. This economic strength continues to provide support for the local property market.
 
Construction Update
Building works for The Guilfoyle began in January 2011 following the appointment of LU Simon Builders. Over the past 9 months many construction milestones have been reached. This includes the installation of retention systems and basement excavation. Retention systems involve creating piles at predetermined distances and concreting walls to create the perimeter wall foundation.
 
The lift core (houses the 3 lifts and the stairs) has been constructed and will soon be above ground level. The lift core is the integral part of the construction process when LU Simon are conducting concrete pours for each of the apartment levels.
 
What will happen in the next 4 months:
  • All basement level slabs will be poured
  • The Guilfoyle structure will grow beyond the ground floor and become visible in the city skyline
